Locally Available Supplies

Students can purchase supplies in person at the GFC studio and during class, at our online store, and offsite. We recommend students purchase their glass through our store or from Marie Kastensmith to make sure they are purchasing glass that will fuse. Stained glass, art glass, and window glass are non-fusable and are not allowed in our classes.

The GFC Store offers:

You can order and purchase items on our online store using a credit card. Orders are processed every Tuesday evening & are typically made available for pick up the following day. Students may pick up their completed orders during their class. 

  • Sheet glass from Oceanside, Youghiogheny, and Wissmach
  • Tools
  • Stringers and Noodles
  • Dicrohic pieces and scrap
  • Firesticks
  • Twisted cane and dots
  • Additional items are listed as supplies come available

Offsite supplies:

Contact Marie Kastensmith: 808-247-8498 or email at kapuaent@gmail.com for offsite purchases. Marie has the following list of items:

  • Glass mostly 96 COE
  • Some 90 COE (which can not be fired at the studio). The types of glass include Iridized, Transparent, Opaque, Dichroic
  • Millifiore
  • Molds
  • Tools: Toyo pistol cutters & blade replacements & oil, running pliers, breakers, nippers
  • Fiber paper
