Learn how to use glass powders to create textures and crackle patterns with kilnformed glass!
Kailua artist Terry Savage will demonstrate his approach to working with glass powders using techniques developed by Canadian artist Bob Leatherbarrow.
Terry has worked with these techniques for several years and is still discovering new color combinations and shapes using glass powders, along with frit and confetti. His work can be seen at Nohea Gallery at Kahala Mall, and Cedar Street Galleries. All participants must purchase Bob Leatherbarrow's "Introduction to Kilnformed Glass Powders" ebook prior to the workshop.
